What is important to know about this position? The team consists of a Head Chef, Sous Chef, (Demi) Chef de Partie, Breakfast Cooks, Stewards, and Trainee Cooks. The kitchen is responsible for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banqueting events, and room service. Our banqueting events include meetings, receptions, buffets, lunches, and dinners for groups. The à la carte menu in the restaurant changes every 4 months and consists of a combination. Your input is certainly appreciated here. The Chef is your coach and helps you to develop further.

Who are we looking for?

• You speak English.

• You have experience in a similar position and experience with HACCP.

• You are flexible, collegial, and work independently.

• You are creative and want to see your dishes on our menu.

What will you do?

• Independently manage your own section within the kitchen (for example, cold kitchen, hot kitchen, or pastry)

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes, with an eye for detail and quality

• Actively contribute to developing new dishes and menus, in consultation with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef

• Monitor inventory and order ingredients for your section

• Ensure a hygienic and safe working environment, according to HACCP guidelines

• Train and guide junior kitchen staff and Demi Chefs de Partie

• Demonstrable experience as Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

• A team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to work in varying shifts

• Good knowledge of HACCP and other food safety standards
