What to expect
The Ciel Bleu Restaurant located on the 23rd floor of the hotel, offers a panoramic view over the city of Amsterdam and is awarded with two Michelin stars. The ultimate Ciel Bleu experience entails exceeding guests’ expectations in regards to dishes as well as service.
As Chef de Rang you are responsible for offering service in Ciel Bleu Restaurant. Your tasks consist of welcoming and guiding our guests, making reservations, serving dishes and ensuring direct communication between kitchen and service staff. Your main tasks will be:
- Operational tasks in the restaurant;
- Pro-actively selling our products;
- Working in a multi-cultural environment;
- Maintaining excellent contact with guests in different languages;
- Mise and Place activities within the restaurant;
- Keeping track of restaurant reservations;
- Following guidelines with regards to safety, Arbo, hygiene and HACCP.
Don’t worry, you will not work alone. Besides your own team, you will also work closely with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. You will work 5 days a week, 7,6 hours a day. You are also available to work on public holidays.
What do we offer?
- Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!
- Salary: Group 5. Click here for the salary scale
- Bonus: 1 week salary when the hotel reaches the budgeted GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and you get a successful yearend evaluation
- 8% holiday allowance (pro rata);
- 25 vacation days per year (pro rata).

- After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people), so that you can experience the hotel as a guest!

- You have experience within restaurants in the luxury segment;
