Are you a passionate Chef looking for a new challenge in an iconic hotel on the Dutch coast?

As a Chef at the Kurhaus Hotel you are responsible for creating high-quality dishes that offer our guests an unforgettable culinary experience. You lead a team of kitchen professionals and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. You are innovative, creative and have an eye for detail, and you always strive to maintain the highest standards of quality and taste.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing menus and dishes that meet the expectations of our guests and match the style and ambiance of the Kurhaus Hotel.
  • Lead the kitchen team, including training, motivating and guiding employees to deliver optimal performance.
  • Ensuring efficient inventory management and cost control, with attention to quality and freshness of ingredients.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with applicable guidelines and legislation.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to provide seamless and high-quality service to our guests.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Chef in a high-quality catering environment, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of various kitchen techniques, ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with varying working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • A completed education at a culinary school or equivalent experience.
