About Mister Highland Hotel

Mister Highland Hotel is part of the Highland Group, an ambitious family-owned company with six successful boutique hotels in the heart of Amsterdam. In 2023, our historic property on the Rokin was fully renovated. Now that we are welcoming guests to this beautifully renewed hotel, we will also be reopening our terrace in April at one of the most central and vibrant locations in Amsterdam.

This modern terrace will be rebuilt in April, and we are looking for a manager who is ready to take on this project with enthusiasm. Are you an experienced, entrepreneurial, and energetic F&B Manager who enjoys taking the lead? Someone who takes responsibility for the full concept, the team, and the results? What will you do?

As F&B Manager, you are the face of the terrace. You combine operational strength with entrepreneurship and are fully responsible for the budget and daily management.

Your responsibilities:

• Full budget responsibility (revenue, costs, and margins)

• Recruiting, managing, motivating, and coaching the terrace team

• Creating work schedules (fixed working days: Wednesday through Sunday)

• Monitoring quality, service, and guest experience

• Actively working on the floor

• Optimizing revenue and profitability

• Inventory management and purchasing

• Identifying commercial opportunities

You are not only a manager but also an active member of the team.

Operational Duties

As a hands-on manager, you actively participate in service:

• Welcoming and seating guests on the terrace

• Taking orders

• Preparing and serving beverages

• Serving drinks and dishes

• Ensuring a clean and organized workspace

• Providing professional and hospitable service to guests
