WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As mentioned, our guest is more to us than just a guest. Together with your colleague Cluster Front Office Manager, you are responsible for a team of employees who do everything to make our guest's stay as pleasant as possible! You know how to teach them the finer points when it comes to service orientation and consistent quality. Whether it's arranging a bottle of champagne with strawberries in the room or reserving the best restaurant in Utrecht, we do everything to provide guests with a great experience! Additionally, you are responsible for:

  • You convey the warm feeling of Eye Hotel to the guest and your team;

  • You share all the fun hotspots of our great city and go the extra mile by offering to make the reservation in advance;

  • You take and process reservations. At 100% occupancy, you check if our other beautiful Utrecht Boutique Hotels still have a nice room available;

  • You train and coach people in their (personal) development;

  • You ensure proper staffing, time registration, etc.;

  • You contribute to optimizing our quality in the hotel;

  • You check the quality of the rooms together with your team;

  • You process payments and other financial and administrative tasks.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Just like the team, you are someone who does everything to make our guests happy. Furthermore:

  • You are a leader who is aware of their role model and direct influence on the satisfaction of our people;

  • You know how to enthuse and coach our people in their personal development. You give employees space and trust to make mistakes. At the same time, you are clear and open in communication, with you, employees know where they stand;

  • It can sometimes be very busy in the department, you can handle that. You remain calm and composed and keep everything well in view;

  • You make proposals to do things differently and/or better, you do not shy away from this. You have a vision and you like to express it;

  • You are someone who can plan and organize well, you define tasks in terms of necessary time, resources, and people;

  • You are communicatively skilled in Dutch and English (any additional foreign language is a plus);

  • Possession of a first aid diploma is a plus;

  • Possession of a Social Hygiene diploma is a plus.
