As a Human Resources Intern for Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam you will be responsible for ensuring consistent quality of customer service is provided to the guests and team members in accordance with the Waldorf Astoria True Service Standards.


What will I be doing?


Human Resources:

  • Assist with the providing and administration of internal trainings and update the QA matrix
  • Assist in the recruitment process, by pre selecting, interviewing candidates and communicating with the relevant HOD
  • Preparing the paperwork for new employees in a welcome package and provide the introduction
  • Process employee information in relevant systems with regards to in and outflow
  • Projects in co-operation with the Human Resources Manager, related to process improvement
  • Strategically review the team member satisfaction and look at tools on how to improve
  • Prepare the monthly birthday calendar and hand out birthday cards and gifts
  • Choose our yearly birthday gift
  • Organize Team Member events (Christmas, Sinterklaas, Easter)
  • Play a supporting role in our Care Team
