At DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, we’re looking for a LuminAir Events Sales Coordinator to join our talented Groups, Conference and Events team.

Our hotel offers the award-winning rooftop bar LuminAir, the vibrant new WE ARE EDN restaurant and bar, Amsterdam’s most extensive breakfast buffet, and an in-house LOT61 coffee store. Our recently refurbished 557 guest rooms and 15 versatile meeting rooms, make our hotel a dynamic and exciting place to work.

Who are we looking for / What will you do?

Join our fantastic team as our new LuminAir Events Sales Coordinator. Located in the vibrant heart of Amsterdam, the Booking Office is a great place to start your Groups, Conference and Events Career with exposure to a diversity of guests.

This position includes the following main duties:

Maximize revenue opportunities in group reservations, conferences and events in our rooftop bar LuminAir by driving sales leads and increasing conversions
You will interact extensively with guests and clients with the intent of earning repeat and extension business.
Receive and convert inbound inquiries to achieve goals and maximize revenue
Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs
Arrange and execute hotel show tours
Participate in hotel promotional activities

Who are we looking for:

Good organizational and administrative skills
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Commitment to providing a high level of customer service
Confident telephone manner
Demonstrated work experience in a sales environment
The perfect candidate will be fluent in English (Dutch language skills are an advantage).
