As a Public Area Attendant, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the public areas of our hotel. Your duties include various cleaning tasks such as cleaning sanitary facilities, wiping furniture, vacuuming the restaurant areas, and assisting with dishwashing. This makes the position varied and dynamic.
What we offer
The new Public Area Attendant at ibis Amsterdam Centre can expect a competitive salary (job group III, starting salary €2,658.05 gross per month, according to the Dutch Hospitality Collective Labour Agreement +7.5%). In addition, we pay a 15% night shift allowance (the CLA standard is 10%).
We also offer a travel allowance (from 5 km) and discounts on accommodation, food, and beverages at Accor Hotels worldwide. Who are we looking for?
You are a hard worker with experience in cleaning
You speak Dutch and/or English well
You have no objections to working weekends, evenings, and night shifts
(working hours are approximately 07:00–15:00, 14:00–22:00, and 23:00–07:00)
Desired skills:
You are organized and punctual
You can work well independently but are also a team player
You have a neat and representative appearance
You have a strong sense of service
You live in or near Amsterdam
You can adapt quickly in ad hoc situations without losing oversight
