The Script

As our Reservations Representative, you’ll be the first voice and first impression of INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery. With your service-driven mindset and commercial flair, you know how to surprise and inspire every guest. You don’t just sell a room – you sell the full Amsterdam experience and everything our hotel has to offer.

You’ll join a close-knit commercial team of six and report directly to the Commercial Manager. Your role covers confirming, planning, and processing both individual and group reservations – from a single room to a full hotel buy-out, corporate meetings, birthday dinners, and VIP entertainment groups.

No two days are alike: one day you might be helping a large company plan a meeting down to the smallest detail, the next you’re arranging a romantic weekend for two. You’ll work closely with multiple hotel departments to make sure everything runs perfectly – and you’re not afraid to think creatively to deliver that extra touch. You’ll also have the opportunity to dip into revenue management and develop a sharp eye for pricing strategies.

Your key responsibilities:

• Managing reservations via phone and email for both individual guests and groups;

• Preparing proposals for group requests – from an intimate dinner for 10 to a multi-day hotel buy-out;

• Coordinating requirements and details with all relevant departments;

• Overseeing the full organisation of events, including upselling and aftersales;

• Handling aftersales, special requests, and complaints;

• Daily administrative tasks such as invoicing no-shows, checking commissions, and validating reservations.

Today, that history is woven into every detail of our 149 rooms, two meeting spaces, and our restaurant & cocktail bar PRESSROOM.
