As a Restaurant Manager at Grand Hotel Amrath Kurhaus, you are responsible for the daily management of our restaurant, striving for the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence. You monitor the quality and execution of the work. You ensure smooth communication with the kitchen team and the breakfast manager and perform various tasks to take quality to a higher level. You ensure an efficient layout of tables, a pleasant reception of the guests and serving the guests. The focus is mainly on improving quality, control in the department and the pursuit of 100% guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the restaurant team and ensure a positive work environment
• Drawing up work schedules and monitoring compliance with operational procedures
• Training, coaching and developing employees to deliver excellent service
• Maintain high standards for food safety, hygiene and quality
• Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Manage the restaurant's inventory, costs and budgets
• Be actively involved in the recruitment and selection of new staff

Who are we looking for:

• You have completed at least a Secondary 4 or Higher Hotel School or a comparable commercial education,
• Good command of the Dutch language, spoken and written. You also speak a fair amount of English and German,
• You have experience as a manager in the F&B / Hotel industry,
• You are available full time,
• You have good social skills,
• You have a representative appearance and a guest-oriented attitude.
