What to expect

The revenue department strives for the optimal business mix between business and leisure stays for groups and individuals. It also contributes to the growth of outlet revenue, including through restaurants, meeting rooms, and the spa.

As Revenue Trainee together with the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the optimal business mix for hotel rooms at Hotel Okura Amsterdam. You will work with one of the most luxurious hotel products in the Netherlands and will have the opportunity to further expand your knowledge of revenue management and distribution. This traineeship offers significant responsibility and gives you the opportunity to develop yourself in a dynamic environment.

Main tasks:

• Assist with daily tasks in the revenue department;

• Analyze data and make recommendations;

• Optimize distribution channels;

• Assist with market research;

• Improve internal processes;

• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and reporting;

• Attend various meetings and training sessions;

• Work in an international environment.

Your traineeship shift will be from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 – 17:00. You are also expected to assist during events either in the evening or on weekends. It is possible to work on your thesis or school projects one day per week.

• Salary: Trainee compensation of €750 euros (gross) per month based on a full time traineeship

• You are a student at one of the (hotel)schools in the Netherlands;
• You have passion for the hotel business;
• You are proactive and have a genuine interest in sales;
• You are discrete and able to handle confidential information;
• You have excellent communication skills;
• You have excellent computer skills;
