Sales Executive - Private Events & Dining - Amsterdam

The iconic Amstel Hotel is looking for a Sales Executive Private Events & Dining is responsible for driving revenue in social and corporate group segments while positioning the Amstel Hotel’s restaurant, bar, and terrace as the preferred destination for Amsterdam residents and local businesses.

This role focuses on proactive sales, local relationship building, and strengthening the hotel’s position as the iconic venue for the Amsterdammer for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and refined dining experiences.

The ideal candidate knows Amsterdam inside out, understands its business and social landscape, and has the ability to translate the Amstel’s heritage, luxury positioning, and culinary excellence into compelling commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drives awareness and revenues for the hotel events venues, restaurant, bar and terrace by positioning the Amstel Hotel as the preferred luxury venue for high end events and celebrations.

• Proactively generates new business leads for corporate meetings, private dining, weddings, and social celebrations.

• Develops and maintain strong relationships with local companies, event planners, PA networks, family offices, and private clients.

• Build partnerships with local entrepreneurs, luxury brands and community networks.

• Conduct site inspections and personalized client presentations.

• Prepares proposals and contracts and follows up strategically to convert leads into confirmed business.

• Collaborates closely with Events, F&B, Revenue, and Operations to ensure seamless execution.

• Identify repeat business opportunities and build long-term partnerships.

Profile:

• Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in Food & Beverage, high end venues, or premium event locations.

• Strong network within Amsterdam’s corporate and/or social market.

• Good understanding of the local market, key players and trends.

• Commercially driven with a proactive, “hunter” mentality.

• Excellent relationship-building skills.

• Well-presented, professional, and confident communicator.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

• Passion for luxury hospitality and the Amstel’s heritage.
