Stewarding Supervisor - Amsterdam

At the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, we are looking for a Stewarding Supervisor to take ownership of our stewarding operations and support the team that keeps everything moving. 

What are my responsibilities?  

You are responsible for leading the Stewarding team and ensuring operations run efficiently behind the scenes. You oversee the cleaning processes, manage stock levels and make sure equipment and tools are well maintained and used correctly. 

You build strong relationships within the team, creating a positive and structured environment where everyone knows what is expected and feels supported to perform at their best. 

In this role, you report directly to the Executive Chef.

You take ownership and bring structure to a fast-moving environment, without losing sight of the people around you. You are comfortable making decisions, stepping in where needed and keeping things on track, even when the pressure is on. 

You communicate clearly, set expectations and know how to motivate a team to work towards shared goals. You lead by example and create an environment where collaboration and consistency go hand in hand. 

You:  

• Have experience in Hospitality, Stewarding, or a similar operational environment.  

• Communicate well in English and ideally Dutch.  

• Understand the basics of HACCP and follow hygiene and safety standards.  

• Feel comfortable guiding a team and supporting the day-to-day operation. 

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
