What can you expect

The Accounting & Financial department, amongst other duties is responsible for processing all turnover and costs. 

The Finance & Accounting Associate supports the Finance & Accounting Department by accurately performing daily and monthly financial tasks and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves reconciling revenue, costs, and inventory, processing invoices, and preparing payments within set deadlines. The associate also manages daily cash handling, maintains the safe, and ensures accurate posting of cash journals. In addition, this position prepares banquet invoices and assists with month-end and year-end closings, audits, and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and clear communication with other departments are essential for success in this role. Your normal working hours will be from Monday to Friday from 8:30 – 16:30.

  • Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!

  • Bonus: 1 week salary when the hotel reaches the budgeted GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and personal goals are met

What are we asking?
Of course, we are first and foremost interested in you and what we as an employer can do for you to provide a great workplace. Nevertheless we expect from you that:

  • A relevant previous experience is a plus;  
  • You have excellent knowledge of English (fluency in both written and spoken), Dutch is a plus;
  • You are precise and result-oriented;
  • You have a strong affinity for working with numbers and are motivated to learn new things;
  • You possess strong communication skills;
  • You have excellent knowledge of MS Office;
  • Knowledge of Opera, Micros and Business Central software is a plus;
  • You can work under a full time contract (38 hours per week)
