For the Hampton by Hilton Schiphol we are looking for an All-round F&B/Restaurant Employee.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Taking and preparing orders;
• Debrassing tables and preparing them for the next guests
• Executing of cleaning and clearing activities in the open lobby or meeting rooms;
• Taking care of a welcoming representation of buffets, the meetingrooms and open lobby;
• Answering guest’ questions;
• Being attent on guest’ wishes and inquiries, and compliance with the set rules regarding company and personal hygiene and work and presentation methods;
• Various other activities that are not mentioned here, but which form a logical part of the job.

Requirements

• Preferably a finsished tourism-related education (hotelschool);
• Related F&B experience (preferably 2-3 year in an a-la-carte restaurant);
• Service-focussed and flexible setting;
• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to;
• Good in the local language and English;
• Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job;
• You have a problem-solving ability;
• You have your own transportation or are able to reach the hotel 24/7 (you are able to travel before 7:00 and after 23:00, on weekdays, weekends and during holidays.).

• You are a teamplayer, take responsibilities and have a pro-active attitude;
• Peferably you speak a second or third langue;
• Representative appearance.

On April 23rd 2013, the Hampton by Hilton Schiphol was opened with 181 rooms. The hotel is ideally located, as it is right in front of the Hoofddorp train station. As a result, you are at Schiphol within four minutes or you are within 20 minutes of Central Station in Amsterdam. Besides the rooms, the hotel has a meeting room, a gym, a business centre, a large lobby, a breakfast room and of course a good bar! Growth is possible within the organization; if the correct behaviour is shown for this.
