Food & Beverage Shift Leader

As a Food & Beverage Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Food & Beverage outlets during your shift. You lead the team on the floor, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure that Marriott brand standards are consistently maintained. You will support the supervisors and management team while motivating associates to provide outstanding service.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the Food & Beverage team during your shift and ensure efficient daily operations.

• Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

• Supervise service in the Restaurant, Bar, Room Service, and Conference & Events when required.

• Support and coach associates on the floor, providing guidance and feedback throughout the shift.

• Ensure all opening, during-service, and closing procedures are completed according to Marriott standards.

• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly and professionally following Marriott's Spirit to Serve philosophy.

• Maximize sales opportunities by promoting menu items and upselling where appropriate.

• Monitor service quality and ensure food and beverage presentation meets brand standards.

• Ensure all guest orders are accurately entered and charged.

• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, health & safety, and fire safety standards in accordance with Marriott policies.

• Ensure all equipment, supplies, and stock are available and properly maintained throughout the shift.

• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service.

• Report operational issues, maintenance requirements, and guest feedback to the Supervisor or management.

• Assist with training and onboarding new associates.

• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by management.
