For the Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Arena we are looking for a F&B Trainee fulltime per direct.

Job description

You are responsible for delivering an F&B experience with a smile during the various shifts. You will be used both in the breakfast, behind the bar and in the service. The function involves physical stress such as standing, lifting, carrying.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Receiving and welcoming guests

• Serving guests

• Preparing and serving simple a la carte dishes and orders (pouring drinks, preparing small dishes / snacks, etc.)

• Preparing mise en place for breakfast or dinner

• Preparing and stuffing the breakfast buffet

• Give suggestions and explanations about food and drinks to guests

• Prepare drinks and take orders behind the bar

• Cleaning work as clearing tables, stewarding and cleaning the restaurant

• Preparations for the next day

• Inventory management

• HACCP

Job requirements

• MHS / HHS or tourist training;

• Good Dutch- and English-speaking skills, and preferably a third language

• You live in the vicinity of the hotel or have your own transport

The hotel is very easy to reach; located opposite the train and metro station Bijlmer Arena. As a result, you are within Amsterdam central station, Schiphol Airport or Utrecht central station in just 20 minutes. In addition, the Ziggo Dome, AFAS Life and the Amsterdam Arena are within walking distance. This is how many national and international guests come.
