What will you do?

As Front Office Supervisor, you are an important part of the Front Office team and play an essential role in the overall guest experience. You ensure that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and special from arrival to departure.

You support and motivate the Front Office team and are responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations. In the absence of the Front Office Manager, you will act as the main point of contact and take full responsibility during the shift.

Your responsibilities

  • Welcome, check in, and check out guests according to luxury hospitality standards, including Forbes standards

  • Handle guest questions, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner

  • Coach, guide, and support Front Office Hosts

  • Monitor service quality, procedures, and operational standards

  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance

  • Act as Manager on Duty during shifts

  • Collaborate with other departments to create memorable guest experiences

  • Ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding service delivery

  • Identify opportunities to improve the guest journey

Who are you?

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably within a luxury hotel environment

  • You have knowledge of hotel standards, procedures, and high-level hospitality

  • Experience with Opera PMS is considered an advantage

  • You possess strong communication and organizational skills

  • You remain calm under pressure and maintain overview in busy situations

  • You are an inspiring team player with a positive and professional attitude

  • You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English

  • You are flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • You have an affinity with Amsterdam and luxury hospitality
