ibis Amsterdam City West is a 3-star hotel belonging to the international Accor Group. Your Role
As Operations Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. You work closely with the General Manager, Janine, serving as her direct sparring partner on an operational and tactical level. You are responsible for managing the Front Office Supervisors, the F&B Supervisor, Housekeeping, and operational staff, ensuring that all departments work together optimally and deliver a high quality of service. In addition, you are responsible for monitoring budgets and forecasts, analyzing results, and making adjustments where necessary. You identify opportunities for improvement within operations and translate them into concrete actions and innovative solutions. You demonstrate strong operational involvement and are regularly present on the floor to support the team. In the absence of the General Manager, you are fully capable of managing the hotel independently.
Who We Are Looking For
HBO (University of Applied Sciences) working and thinking level, preferably in a commercial, tourism, or hospitality direction;
At least 3 years of leadership experience within the hospitality industry, with responsibility over multiple operational departments;
Result-oriented with an emphasis on high-quality guest service and coaching leadership;
Strong analytical skills with experience in setting, measuring, and driving KPIs such as guest satisfaction (GSS), revenue, costs, and employee satisfaction;
An inspiring leader who is creative, empathetic, and a true team player;
Able to maintain an overview, make decisions at critical moments, and act decisively;
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, with a willingness to work irregular shifts when necessary.

A salary starting from period 4 of the Dutch Catering Collective Labor Agreement (Horeca CAO) in scale 11 from € 4,451.86, plus a bonus scheme of up to 10% of your annual salary (dependent on achieved targets);
