Your Role
As Sous Chef at Sazanka, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen team and maintaining the exceptional standards.
You will support the Chef de Cuisine in overseeing daily kitchen operations, guiding and developing the culinary team, and ensuring every dish is prepared with consistency, creativity, and precision. From coaching chefs on refined cooking techniques and presentation to contributing to menu development and operational excellence, you will help create an extraordinary dining experience for every guest.
Working in the unique world of teppanyaki cuisine, you will combine leadership with craftsmanship while inspiring your team in a dynamic international environment.

- Contract: 1-year contract with the possibility of extension
- Salary: Scale VII
- Bonus: 1 week’s salary when profit targets and a successful year-end evaluation are achieved

Your Responsibilities
- Support and oversee daily kitchen operations while maintaining the exceptional standards of Sazanka
- Train, coach, and motivate kitchen associates in culinary techniques and refined presentation
- Ensure consistent food quality, creativity, and outstanding guest experiences
- Maintain HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards within the kitchen
- Assist in menu development, cost control, and the overall growth of the kitchen team
Your Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role within the higher-end hospitality or restaurant industry
- Completed chef education or culinary training
- Knowledge of teppanyaki cuisine is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Creative mindset and enthusiasm for culinary innovation
- Flexible and comfortable working in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
