Join Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South (207 rooms) and voco The Hague (204 rooms) and lead the sales success of two standout hotels in the Netherlands.

This is a strategic role where you’ll manage the proactive sales team, drive sales performance, grow key accounts, and inspire a high-performing team across Rooms, F&B, and Meetings & Events.

Reporting to the Cluster Commercial Director your Key Responsibilities are:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales proactive team to achieve individual and collective targets

  • Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide continuous feedback and support

  • Inspire a high-performance culture by leading by example

  • Ensure strong collaboration between sales, marketing, revenue, and operations teams

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Co-create and implement the commercial and sales strategy with the Cluster Commercial Director and General Manager

  • Drive new business leads across rooms, Food and Beverage venues, and Meetings & Events

  • Identify opportunities across both hotels and all managed segments to optimize occupancy, average rates, and revenue.

  • Develop and execute targeted sales plans, promotions, and special programs

·         Actively participate and complete the preparation of the annual Sales and Market Plan, quarterly updates, and the complexed hotels' annual Budgets. Execute initiatives as outlined; swiftly implement strategies/tactics to offset changes in markets, economy or driven by the competitive set. Organize and/or attend scheduled group and related meetings

  • Work closely with commercial functions to drive revenue performance and deliver exceptional guests’ experience.

Business Development & Networking

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders

·         Organise comprehensive information describing the range of products and services offered by the hotel and deliver this information through relevant sales resources and sales channels to existing and potential Guests

  • Proactively expand the client base through networking events and social engagement

  • Represent Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South and voco™ The Hague at industry events on national and international community

·         Prepare and present, on a monthly basis, the contribution, focus and activity of the proactive sales team to the hotel owners and senior management team

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Strengthen the awareness and reputation of Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South voco™ The Hague

  • Position both hotels as a key destination within the local social and business scene

  • Ensure alignment with IHG Brands values and deliver memorable guest experiences

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies based on market trends and results

  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination with internal teams

  • Take ownership of ad-hoc responsibilities and lead the team through dynamic situations

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role within hospitality, preferably in a lifestyle hotel brand

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams

  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset with a results-driven approach

  • Excellent project management, multitasking, and time management skills

  • A natural networker with strong connections in the local market

  • Solid understanding of local business trends and economic factors

  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Fluent Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus)
