Radisson Hotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport just opened a 4 star airport hotel, and we’re looking for a passionate and professional Food & Beverage Supervisor to help us deliver memorable dining experiences from day one. With 281 rooms, 6 meeting and event styling rooms, and the energy of a pre-opening, this is your chance to take a leading role, inspire your team, and shape the guest experience in a dynamic environment.
As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you are one of the key faces of the hospitality experience within the hotel. You ensure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of in our restaurant, bar, and during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
You lead by example during service, combining operational oversight with hands-on involvement. You maintain structure during busy periods, keep a clear overview, and ensure a smooth and professional service at all times.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading the full shift operation and acting as the main point of contact for the team, including Meeting & Events associates
Taking ownership of guest feedback and complaints when escalation is needed
Preparing and monitoring handovers between shifts
Supporting team administration and ensuring procedures are followed correctly
Training and onboarding new team members
Preparing and leading team briefings
Coordinating with Sales regarding event sheet preparations
Ensuring a warm, professional welcome for all guests
Overseeing order taking, service, and quality standards for food & beverages
Monitoring table setup, cleanliness, and organization of all outlets
Supporting the team actively during busy service moments
Advising guests on menu items, ingredients, and beverage pairings
Driving upselling and enhancing the overall guest experience
Ensuring correct use of the POS system and payment handling
Maintaining strong communication with kitchen and other departments
Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP)
Assisting with opening and closing procedures
You are flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and a natural ability to lead and motivate others. Our team needs guidance, knowledge and definitely an enthusiastic leader!
What we’re looking for
MBO level 3/4 working and thinking level, with a hospitality background
Proven experience in Food & Beverage service, preferably in a supervisory role
Knowledge of operational procedures, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP)
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Experience with coordinating teams during service
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
A guest-focused mindset with a proactive attitude
Ability to stay calm and maintain overview in a fast-paced environment
Good command of English or Dutch
Flexibility in working hours and shifts
