Main Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Supervisor, you report to the Welcome Office Manager and play a key role in delivering the W guest journey.
Supervising the Welcome Desk — You guide and support Welcome Desk Talent to ensure every guest receives a warm, witty and seamless arrival and departure experience.
Leading Guest Relations & Welcome Teams — You provide daily leadership to the Guest Relations team as well as the Welcome (Bellman/Doorman) team, ensuring smooth coordination of guest arrivals, departures and personalized service moments.
Leading by example — You embody the W attitude and inspire Talent to deliver service that goes beyond expectations.
Driving the W service philosophy — You bring the Whatever/Whenever mindset to life across the Welcome Desk, Guest Relations and Welcome teams.
Ensuring operational excellence — You monitor daily operations, solve challenges on the spot and ensure standards are consistently exceeded.
Creating WOW moments — You support Talent in crafting memorable, personalized experiences that surprise and delight our guests.
The ideal candidate has strong experience supervising a Front Office, Guest Relations or guest‑facing team in a high‑end, lifestyle‑driven environment. You are passionate about the W brand, naturally in tune with trends, and always “in the know” about Amsterdam’s hotspots. You have an eye for detail, a drive for perfection, and a creative, upbeat approach to work and life.

MBO / HBO Degree (Preferably in Hotel Management)
Minimum of one-year experience in the same or similar role team leader
Fluency in English & Dutch
Experience in the Hotel Industry as Guest Service Center Agent and a Team Leader is a must
Experience in Luxury Segment is an advantage
