Your day to day:
Working closely with the Chef on banqueting and events, supporting the full process from planning through execution as part of daily operations.
Making sure all areas of the kitchen are properly prepared for a smooth and successful service.
Plays an active role in the daily kitchen operation, working closely with colleagues to prepare and serve exceptional dishes.
Managing the preparation and presentation of plates.
Contributes to the creation and development of new menu items, presenting ideas to the Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef.
Maintains stock levels, places orders, and organizes inventory to minimize waste.
Ensuring the kitchen is HACCP compliant.
Maintaining a positive team spirit and assisting colleagues wherever necessary to ensure excellent guest experiences.
When necessary supervise breakfast quality e buffet to ensure guest satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
You are highly motivated to learn, open to feedback, and eager to develop new skills.
You are flexible and stress resistant.
You like to teach others and you are curious to develop your skills.
The flexibility to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts.
Attention to detail.
Capability to work independently.
Ability to maintain oversight.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
