What are my responsibilities?

As a Bar Back, you are an essential part of the Beverage & Food team that brings our brand new, lifestyle-focused Bar & Lounge to life. You ensure the bar runs smoothly by keeping everything stocked, organized, and ready. This includes preparing garnishes, refilling supplies, and maintaining a clean and inviting space. During busy moments, you support the bartenders and help maintain the high-energy, seamless service our guests love, from laid-back afternoons to lively evenings.

You will be part of a vibrant environment where relaxed daytime vibes meet upbeat evenings. Whether it’s helping set the stage for a morning espresso or making sure the energy flows during cocktail hour, you're a key part of the guest journey.

Communicate fluently in English and Dutch is a plus

Have a passion for hospitality; previous café or restaurant experience is a bonus

A unique opportunity is awaiting you in the city center of one of the most dynamic markets in Europe. We are excited that the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is currently undergoing a full transformation. A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
