Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West is a vibrant, colorful hotel featuring an integrated Amsterdam Congress Center. With 476 rooms and 21 versatile meeting spaces, including a spacious ballroom that accommodates up to 700 guests in theatre style and a unique rooftop event area, we are one of the largest hotels for meetings and events in Amsterdam.

Located conveniently next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport and car. Designed by the renowned Karim Rashid, the property is part of the iconic VEN complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino, LimeHome apartments, World of Karaoke, and Restaurant Azura.

We are an innovative hotel, offering self check-in to our guests. This allows us to accommodate guests faster, reduce queuing lines, and spend more time engaging in meaningful conversations to personalize their stay. Job Description

As Front Office Manager, you will lead the Front Office team, ensuring a smooth and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure. You will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, coaching your team, and driving guest satisfaction while maximizing revenue through the enrollment and upsell program.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and optimize the check-in/check-out processes, including the self check-in to ensure the team has more time to engage in personal conversations with guests, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and training for your department.
  • Implement and coach team members on the enrollment and upsell program to maximize revenue.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring resolutions enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, M&E, Sales) to deliver seamless experiences.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze reports, and implement improvement plans where needed.
  • Oversee financial processes related to Front Office operations, including billing, payments, and cash handling.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • A completed education in hotel management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Front Office operations, ideally in a large 4- or 5-star hotel environment with +400 hotel rooms.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; a second language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Office programs, PMS systems, and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, social character, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Commercial mindset with experience in guest upselling or enrollment programs.
