What we are looking for?

The Housekeeping Manager will work with the inhouse supervisory- and public area team and for rooms cleaning with an external cleaning company and manages the department under supervision of the Rooms Division Manager.

You will supervise all activities related to housekeeping, ensuring company quality standards compliance by all team members. Maintain assigned areas in an orderly and attractive manner, certifying that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained. 

Job requirements:

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Housekeeping management in hotels in a 4* or 5* environment
• Speak English (additional languages are a plus).
• You have an impeccable eye for detail.
• You are enthusiastic and positive thinking.
• You are flexible and adaptable to change.
• Someone who often thinks: “What can we do to do it better?”.

What will you be doing:

• Managing the team of supervisors, room attendants, housemen and public area cleaners
• Ensure efficient planning and productivity
• Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping activities for the hotel to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for both the guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and heart of the house for cleanliness.
• Control and manage inventory of housekeeping and minibar supplies
• First point of contact with housekeeping suppliers
• Create a fun, smooth and motivating environment for the team
• Training of new team members.
• Rotate in management on duty schedule.
