Housekeeping shift leader - Amsterdam

We are looking for a driven and independent housekeeping employee to join our dynamic team in our charming hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. In addition to regular housekeeping duties, such as cleaning rooms and common areas, we are looking for someone who also can take responsibility for additional tasks, including ordering

supplies, manage the housekeeping team and perform quality controls.

Job description:

• Taking care of daily cleaning in rooms and common areas,
• Using cleaning equipment and supplies,
• Managing inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Placing orders with suppliers according to established procedures,
• Coordinating and assigning tasks to the housekeeping tea,
• Ensuring good communication and cooperation within the team,
• Performing regular quality checks,
• Reporting any problems and proactively solving problems.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in housekeeping in a hotel environment,
• Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team,
• Excellent organizational and communication skills,
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and standards,
• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and national holidays,
