W Hotels does not recruit, we cast Talent. W Amsterdam, located at Spuistraat 175 is casting a Revenue management Executive. You will be joining the Revenue and Reservations Team. The role of the Revenue Management Executive is to support the Director of Revenue in all technical and strategic aspects of the pricing of the hotel.
The right candidate will have a detail oriented hands on approach and the ability to analyze data. He/ She will also be a team player as well as have the ability to work on their own initiative.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure that all rates are loaded in a timely manner and compliant with Marriott policies.
Ensure that the hotel has Best Rate Guarantee compliance at all times.
Work together with the DORM to prepare forecasts and pick-up reports.
Work together with the DORM in preparation and delivery of the weekly RevMax meetings
Be the to go to person for the reservations agents in their daily operational tasks. Ensure they are set up for success and can offer our guests Whatever Whenever service.
Responsible for assisting in the daily operations at our revenue/reservations team. You are part of a bigger team, and the entire team is responsible for making the guests dreams come true.
Act as rooms controller: Amongst other things; Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible. Pre-register designated guests and prepare for their stay.
Being in the know: You are the expert when it comes to the hotel and the city, and you know all the ins and outs on our hotel facilities and possibilities in and around the hotel.
Welcoming and helping guests before their stay during the reservations process. Ensure you are following service standards and operating procedures from the beginning to the end of each interaction.
Showing guests our Whatever/Whenever in all communication with them, and connect with them to be able to personalize that service, creating memorable experiences.
We are ALL-IN, and have more teams that we cooperate with . We expect you to be flexible to work with other departments. You’re not the only one on stage.
Communicating with your team and other departments is key. The Sales department and Welcome Desk department will be on speed dial. Couldn’t live without them.
Make sure you put the guests at the center of everything we do. Any task that is not mentioned in this list but that may create an unforgettable experience for our guests is on your to do list.

Requirements
Previous hotel experience in either reservations or welcome desk is a plus, however candidates from other backgrounds with the right attitude will be considered.
Knowledge of Marriott Systems are an added advantage but not a requirement.
1 year relevant work experience
Hospitality background
Fluent verbal and written English skills. Dutch and other languages are appreciated.
