De Plesman is based in a historic monument, and is currently transformed into a brand-new lifestyle hospitality concept. All the (wonderful - if we can say so) basics are there: an astonishing monumental building, a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. But De Plesman is not your regular hotel, we do things differently around here.
So.. what is different you ask? We are bold. We are looking for someone who wants to evolve hospitality together with us. We believe our team members are at the heart of our hotel and make it such a special place. We can’t do this alone though, and hence we are looking for you to lead the marketing strategy and brand presence of De Plesman.

What will you be doing?
As a Brand & Marketing Manager, you’ll boldly take charge of the marketing strategy for our brand, where fun and sophistication come together to create a standout experience.
Your curiosity and creativity will shine as you set trends, develop bold campaigns, and craft engaging content, all while promoting our brand to external guests and businesses.
You will ensure kind, personalized brand interactions by evaluating engagement, focusing on improvement areas, and inspiring your team to boldly exceed expectations.
With a fun yet professional approach, you’ll take responsibility for developing and executing innovative marketing initiatives, setting ambitious goals that align with our sophisticated standards.
You will curiously explore and optimize strategies to boost visibility and revenue while managing budgets effectively with a bold and results-driven approach. You won’t do this alone — you will do this together with the leadership team.
You take care of brand positioning and performance, finding the right balance between profitability and delivering the highest quality brand experience.
Small print:
You bring at least 2 years of experience in a similar marketing role. Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment is a strong plus.
A strong foundation in digital marketing—covering SEO, SEA, social media, and email campaigns—enables you to develop effective strategies.
New projects energize you, and you're skilled at planning, organizing, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or InDesign are already part of your marketing toolkit.
You are fluent in both Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
Ideally, you are based in or near The Hague
