KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Take ownership of tactical and operational pricing and reservation policies, with a primary focus on Rooms Division and a secondary focus on F&B, Banqueting, and other revenue streams under the guidance of a Senior Revenue Manager.

 

MAIN TASKS

With guidance and coaching from a Senior Revenue Manager:

 

  • Assist with develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies based on market analysis, demand forecasting, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust pricing to align with market trends and business goals.
  • Adapt pricing strategies across all segments in response to market conditions and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Maximize revenue by optimizing performance across the most profitable distribution channels.
  • Manage and maintain inventory across segments to support revenue optimization.
  • Analyse historical data, market trends, and booking patterns to forecast future demand.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts to identify risks and opportunities, aiming to meet forecast accuracy targets.
  • Identify and communicate emerging trends, recommending strategic actions to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align promotional activities with pricing strategies.
  • Ensure all commercial team members and key stakeholders are fully informed about current pricing policies and promotions.
  • Maintain accurate data in all systems, including Opera, Opera Cloud, IDeaS, and Channel Manager.
  • Identify and document risks and opportunities in the demand calendar.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual Budget.
  • Chair weekly Revenue Meetings, including preparation of minutes and follow-up.
  • Conduct month-end performance analysis.
  • Communicate and verify selling strategies with the Reservations team.
  • Work closely with Sales to analyze segmentation, pricing, and company productivity.
  • Monitor the Revenue Management System for anomalies and exceptions, and validate forecasts monthly.
  • Manage the business holistically, with a focus on people, profit, quality, and customer experience.
