As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall service delivery of the hotel, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience across all departments. Acting as the right hand of the General Manager, you will lead daily operations, support Heads of Department, and drive performance through a hands-on approach. In this role, you will balance operational responsibilities with leadership development, acting as deputy in the absence of the General Manager, and taking ownership in a dynamic, smaller hotel environment.
Responsibilities
Brand, Guest Experience & Operations
* Ensure the guest experience is consistently delivered across all departments in line with brand and company standards
* Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery
Finance & Commercial
* Use company reporting tools and data to support operational and commercial decision-makingDrive productivity and cost control, including payroll management and adherence to financial targets
People Management & Leadership
* Lead and support Heads of Department in driving engagement, performance, and development
* Act as a role model for leadership behaviours aligned with PPHE values and company culture
Asset Protection & Compliance
* Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors in line with regulations
* Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and data protection standards
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in a hotel management role (Food & Beverage Manager or Front Office), ready to step into an Operations Manager position
* Strong hands-on operational mindset with the ability to lead by example across F&B (breakfast/events)
* Experience managing teams and overseeing daily operations within a hotel environment
* Ability to operate effectively within a smaller hotel structure and take ownership across departments
* Strong focus on guest experience and consistent service delivery
* Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
* Eligible to work in the Netherlands
Preferred Requirements
* Experience within an international hotel group
* Familiarity with PPHE Hotel Group or Radisson Hotel Group standards
* Experience working with hotel systems and reporting tools
* BHV and Social Hygiene trained
