Your day to day:

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

• Define and implement the F&B strategy aligned with voco® brand standards and the hotel’s mission.

• Lead, coach, and inspire the Botanica and Ultramarijn teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

• Recruit, train, and develop all F&B team members according to voco® standards.

• Conduct regular performance reviews, set development goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance individual and team performance.

• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and a lifestyle service culture across all F&B outlets.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee all operational aspects of Botanica Restaurant, Ultramarijn Bar, Room Service, and Meeting & Events.

• Ensure smooth daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and task allocation, adjusting resources based on business demand.

• Maintain and continuously improve operational procedures, SOPs, and quality standards in line with brand guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, Arbo, and HACCP regulations.

• Monitor the maintenance, cleanliness, and proper use of all equipment, tools, and supplies; coordinate with engineering for repairs when required.

Guest Experience & Product Innovation

• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop innovative food and beverage offerings, including menus, pairings, and seasonal promotions.

• Research, forecast, and implement gastronomical and social trends to enhance guest experiences.

• Ensure every team member is fully trained in product knowledge, service standards, and guest journey.

• Actively create memorable branded experiences that reflect the voco® spirit and lifestyle service philosophy.

Financial Management

• Drive financial performance by controlling costs, optimizing revenue, and ensuring profitability in line with budgets.

• Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain for all F&B outlets, including beverages, consumables, and operational supplies.

• Monitor sales, analyze trends, and implement strategies to increase revenue while maintaining quality and brand standards.

Brand & Community Engagement

• Act as an ambassador for voco® The Hague, promoting the hotel and its F&B outlets in the local community.

• Develop partnerships with local suppliers and vendors to enhance the uniqueness of offerings at Botanica and Ultramarijn.

• Lead marketing and awareness initiatives in coordination with the hotel’s marketing team.
