We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our Regional Sales Team, with direct responsibility for driving sales and revenue performance across a portfolio of six hotels in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business: Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, database management, and both local and international client visits.
- Account management: Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Cross-selling: Promote all venue offerings-from large congresses to social events-covering guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, and the art gallery.
- Commercial negotiations: Lead negotiations for corporate room rates, meeting packages, and group contracts to maximize profitability and client retention.
- Sales strategy: Contribute ideas for direct sales activities to boost revenue within managed market segments.
- Brand representation: Represent the hotels at industry events, roadshows, and client networking events to strengthen relationships and enhance brand visibility.
Candidate Profile
- +/- 2 years of experience in a commercial sales role within the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated success managing MICE and corporate accounts, ideally in the Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Eindhoven markets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with a consultative, client-focused approach.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage responsibilities across multiple properties.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Opera is beneficial.
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Dutch is considered an advantage.
